Luke 6:12-26

Jesus returns from a night of prayer and the choosing of the twelve apostles, bringing with Him teachings for a new community. Instead of living for what the world tells us to chase after, Jesus teaches a completely different value system for this new community. Followers of Jesus will be marked by humility, generosity, sacrifice, and a mindset focused on God’s kingdom.
