Practical Help for People in Need of Support

The Care ministry at Traders Point Christian Church exists to provide care to the broken by offering comfort, truth, grace, and a path to restoration. We equip staff, volunteer leaders, and group leaders to meet people where they are, and we offer specialized support through Care ministry staff in counseling, benevolence, pastoral care, and prayer.

FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL ASSISTANCE

We understand that life can be challenging, and times can be tough. If you need some financial assistance, please check back on July 5. We will have a form you can fill out and our team will reach out to you.

We can consider requests for assistance with rent or utilities. These considerations are for residents of Marion County and its surrounding counties in Indiana.

Pastoral Care

Funerals

When a loved one passes away, making final preparations amidst grieving can be very difficult. It’s important to have support and a biblical perspective during a time of mourning. If you would like to request a pastor from Traders Point to prepare and deliver a funeral message, please contact our care team at care@tpcc.org.

Meet with a Minister

Navigating big questions and life’s circumstances can be so hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you would like to speak with a minister—at our church in Indianapolis or online—to work through issues or struggles with someone who can help point you to Jesus and His word, please reach out to us at care@tpcc.org. Most of our ministers aren’t accredited clinical counselors, but they can help you find answers to questions and problems in God’s word.

Weddings

As you prepare to make the biggest and most exciting commitment of your life through marriage, it’s important to build the right foundation. If you’re engaged to be married and would like to meet with someone trained in premarital counseling before saying “I do,” check out tpcc.org/weddings to find out more information about the process. Ministers may also be available to perform the ceremony once the premarital counseling sessions are complete. We try to make an officiant available when possible.
