3. What was the wise men’s response when they saw Jesus?

Respond
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and now he’s one or two years old. Wise men from the east are on a quest to find Him, and when they do, they recognize Him as the long-awaited Messiah. Their response is joy and worship, and they give valuable gifts to Jesus’ family.

This moment is powerful for many reasons. Not only does it show us who Jesus is; it shows that He came to be the Savior of the whole world. He came to be our Savior. Like these wise men, our only rightful response is joy and worship. God has given us so much through His Son Jesus, we can’t help but give back our whole selves to Him.

Have you paused this Christmas season to thank Jesus for not just coming for a select few, but for everyone? How has He changed your life personally over the last year? Spend some time in worship, and name out loud or on paper the specific ways He has changed your life. Who can you share these things with today?
