There are many needs in our city right now. Here are some ways you can help us make a difference:
Give to Traders Point
We are seeing an increase in the spiritual and physical needs of people in our city. We want to ensure that we’re adequately resourced to meet the needs of those in our city and across the world. You can begin giving today or move your giving online at tpcc.org/give.
Foster and Adoption Ministry
Consistent with our vision lane of helping vulnerable children, we have created an Amazon Wish List containing essential items and food gift cards that foster families in our city currently need. Check out the Amazon Wish List.
Notes: Items on this list are in high demand and may not be available when you first look, please check back if that’s the case. Traders Point is only accepting deliveries on Tuesdays and Thursdays at this time. If your item is set to be delivered another day, it will be delayed and we will receive the item the next Tuesday or Thursday.
Thank you for your ongoing generosity! We want to share a couple stories we can celebrate!
Masks for our city
Our church, in partnership with 13 other churches in Indy, were able to quickly to secure 200,000 N-95-type masks to provide to hospitals and medical professionals in Indy that are in desperate need of these types of masks. These masks—called KN95 masks—have been approved by Indiana state health officials as a mask that could be donated to hospitals.
The responses we’ve received from medical professionals have been overwhelming—we’ve heard from so many saying thank you for securing these masks and providing them to hospitals and medical professionals who are having to re-use masks because there aren’t enough. Check out this update from Aaron!
Aiding vulnerable children
We were contacted by a local DCS office asking us for help to provide essential safety gear that the staff needed to enable them to serve their families and we immediately acted to meet this need.
Food for families
In March, we collected non-perishable food and were able to donate more than 6,000 items to three food banks who serve families in need throughout central Indiana.
First responder care and support
We know there are medical professionals and first responders on the front lines of this crisis and we want to find unique ways to serve them and be a blessing. Working with local organizations, we have opened our Downtown campus to have childcare for medical professionals affiliated with these organizations. We are looking for more opportunities to continue serving them.
