Who, not what.

Series: Atomic Habits | Week 1: Nailing Jell-O to a Tree

Read Romans 12:2

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Discover
1. How does God transform us into a new person?
2. What words are used to describe God’s will for you?
3. What behaviors and customs of this world do you copy?

Respond
Instead of getting wrapped up in the daily choices of what to do, ask God to shift your focus to the person you are becoming. Your identity first and foremost as His workmanship will, in turn, shape your behaviors. Spend some time asking God how you may need to change the way you think so that can become the person He created you to be.

For Families with Kids at Home
Spend time praying this verse over your kids today—that as they grow, they would let God transform them and not the ways of this world.
