Success = Faithfulness.

Series: Atomic Habits | Week 1: Nailing Jell-O to a Tree

Read 1 Corinthians 3:6-9

“I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.”

Respond
How do you tend to respond when goals aren’t achieved? Take some time now to remember the truth from these verses: God only asks you to be faithful to the work He has called you to do. He isn’t asking you to compare or even achieve the results that only He is capable of achieving. Spend some time with Him now, addressing the areas that trip you up in the area of success. Confess and ask for His help to move forward in faithfulness.

For Families with Kids at Home
As you plant seeds of faith in your kids, remember that while you are the steward of your children, they are ultimately God’s to grow. He loves them even more than you do, and you can trust Him to be faithful.
