1. Valuing what God values can help free you from a mindset focused on the world, but it won’t exempt you from pain. If you find yourself in the midst of suffering or pain, ask God to give you the perspective Paul had in verses 16-18. Your church wants to come alongside you in your pain. 2. 2020 has been a tough year and you may feel tired. If that’s you, pray for strength to not give up. For the sake of others who need Jesus, ask God to help you endure by fixing your gaze on the unchanging God.
