1. Spend a few minutes thinking about your own prayer life. Have you ever prayed all night about something? How does it strike you that even Jesus needed to pray and be alone with His Father? Pray and ask God now to grow your prayer life. Pray that as He does, your values and focus would shift and become more kingdom oriented.
2. Imagine what it might have been like to be one of the twelve called by Jesus. If you are a follower of Jesus, He’s called you, too! Follow the example of these early disciples and learn from Jesus, study Him, and model your life after Him on a daily basis.
