Trust in the Lord.

Series: Hold On To Hope | Week 1: Hold On To Hope

Isaiah 40:31
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Right now, every one of us finds ourselves in circumstances we can’t control. It’s humbling. We can’t control the virus, we can’t control the economy, we can’t control the events of the day. But there is One who is in control and is not surprised by anything that’s happening. God is still on His throne. When all we are left with is trust, where are you putting yours?

Respond in Prayer
• If you’ve never put your full hope, trust and faith in God alone you can do that now. Confess your sin and pride to Him, acknowledge that He is a good God, in control of this universe and yet loves you deeply and personally. Put your trust in Jesus and tell Him you want to live for Him from this day forward, knowing He will give you the strength to do it. If you’ve prayed that prayer for the first time, please tell someone here!

For Families with Kids at Home
• Pray with your kids today, and as you do, pray this verse out loud over your family. Remind each other that God gives us endurance and strength. When you feel weary, cranky, tired, exhausted, remind each other that God is your hope and your help.
