1. Jesus provides a model for our own prayer life in John 17. Even though He faced death in a few short hours, His prayer for Himself was that He would bring glory to His Father. Spend a few minutes now praying that you would know and do the work God has for you to do, and in turn bring glory to Him.
2. The work Jesus completed on earth was to provide a way for human beings to have eternal life with God in heaven. Thank Him for lovingly and selflessly completing that work. Pray specifically now for your friends and family who don’t know the only true God.
