When your kid is 18 years old, will you care more about who they have become or what they have accomplished?

We’ve developed a tool we call Phases to help you navigate each stage in your child’s life so that you can pay attention to what’s changing for them and show up in ways that influence who they become.

As you go through this content, you might wonder, “Why is my church giving me advice about how to create healthy attachments and be emotionally present instead of just theological guidance?” Great question. Research shows that a commonality in children who build both resilience in life and a deep faith are ones who have a strong connection to a parent or caring adult. So when it comes to helping our kids grow a strong faith, all of it matters — their physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual development.
