Trees are a big part of the Christmas tradition, and we find them everywhere this time of year. Trees are also found throughout the Bible. We even see Jesus’ family tree in Matthew 1. 

Jesus' family tree was splintered, withered and full of messed up people—not unlike many of us and our own family trees today. We can learn a lot about ourselves when we look at our family tree! Yet Jesus came to bring hope to imperfect people then and today. Evergreen will focus on that wonderful hope and some key lessons we can learn from Jesus' family tree.
