Respond
Jeremiah writes that he has lost his sense of peace, prosperity, splendor, and hope. What has your fear or anxiety stripped from you? God never left Jeremiah’s side. He was continuing to work in and through his life in the midst of his anxiety, but Jeremiah’s negative self-talk made it difficult for him to feel God’s presence. Talk to God now about what you’re missing and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit and assurance.

For Families with Kids at Home
Today, try to make an extra effort to encourage your kids as they go to school reminding them if they face anxiety or fears, that you are there for them as a parent, and that God is with them. Pray a blessing over them, asking that they would be more aware of God's presence in their life.
