Day Two Matthew 7:26-27
26 “But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.” – Matthew 7:26-27 (NLT)
Learn From the Word
Jesus is clear that rain and floods will come for everyone, and it's in those moments that our foundation will be seen for what it is. Both the wise person and the foolish one build houses that look similar on the outside. But only one house withstands the test of the storms. If you only hear Jesus’ teaching and fail to obey it, Jesus plainly says you’re building on sand.
