Spreading the Good News.

Series: Good News! | Week 1: How Good?

Over the next several weeks the Daily Bible Readings will take you verse by verse through the book of Philippians in more of a study guide format. Click on the link to read the Scripture or open your physical Bible to read along and answer the questions!

Philippians 1:12-14
Discover
1. Where is Paul as he writes this letter to the Philippians? Why is he there?
2. What are the positive results of his seemingly negative circumstances?
3. What kind of perspective and attitude do you sense in Paul? What is he not concerned about? How is it a reflection of what he believes about God?

Respond
1. How do your reactions to your circumstances reflect what you believe? Ask God to deepen your trust in Him and for the ability to see your circumstances from His perspective.
2. Ask God to open your eyes to opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus through the telling of your own story. Who is an example you can follow to gain courage in this?

For Further Reading: See this article on how to share your faith through your own testimony.

For Families with Kids at Home: Today, pray that your kids would grow to speak the truth of God’s word without fear, and that they would have confidence in who he is and what he has done.
