“Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.”

Living a life in close communion with God begins with our hearts and our motives. Jesus taught us how to live with His pace and His presence by teaching us how to pray, how to commune with God, through the Lord’s Prayer. What we really need isn’t just a night out, a stiff drink, or a new show. What we really need is time with our Father.

Respond in Prayer
As you think about your prayer life, how much time do you spend acknowledging the holiness of God, asking that His name be made and kept holy? What do you think is the significance of Jesus including imagery of God as both our Father but also as holy? Ask God to continue shaping your heart and motives into His. For Families with Kids at Home
It can be easy to assume that if your kids go to church that they know who God is. Spend some time today meeting your kids on their level talking to them about God being both their Heavenly Father and holy. Share the significance of knowing who God is.
