1. When you started following Jesus, was your first reaction to get new, Christian friends or to do what Levi did here and introduce all your buddies to this Jesus you were willing to drop everything to follow? Spend some time now asking God how He might be asking you to close the gap between your non-believing friends and Jesus.
2. Jesus isn’t saying He didn’t come for ‘religious’ people. He’s saying He came for people who know they are sick and need a doctor. Ask God to root out any self-righteousness that may be residing in your heart and to remind you of your own sin-sickness that Jesus came to heal.
