Romans 10:9-10
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
Your salvation, thankfully, isn’t dependent on your obedience or perfection. It’s dependent on Jesus.
You can know you’re saved based on your humility. When you feel the Holy Spirit convicting you on a regular basis, but know you’re loved, that’s evidence of your salvation.
The question of Jesus is the most important question you could ever ask. And you can’t ask it for a friend. You must ask it for yourself.
You can put your trust in Jesus today. Where you’re at, you can choose to believe that he has accomplished everything sufficient for your salvation, and as a result, be willing to go where he tells you to go, desire what he desires for you and do what he tells you to do. And if you’ve made the choice to trust Jesus with your life, thank him for your relationship with him and all that he’s done in your life!
