Gifts of the Spirit.

Series: Rally Cry | Week 3: Never Stand Alone!

Day One Acts 2:1-4

“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”

Respond
Wherever a move of God is, community follows. And not just any kind of community but a community marked by unity and power through the work of the Holy Spirit. If you're a follower of Jesus, this same Holy Spirit lives in you, giving you unique gifts designed to help serve and bring life into God’s community, the local church. If you don’t know how God has gifted you, spend some time asking Him! Ask Him to guide you to the places He has prepared for you to serve and build His kingdom on earth.

For Families with Kids at Home
One of the most important parts of a young person’s faith is having a church community—a family of believers, made up of both adults and peers—who will speak life into them and be a safe place to grow and process life together. How can you and your family be more involved and active in this community this year? What’s one step you can take to be more intentional about church participation?
