Worship your way through it.

Series: Worship Your Way Through It | Week 1: Worship Your Way Through It

Habakkuk 3:17-19
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer,  able to tread upon the heights.”

More than anything, here’s why you need to master a heart that looks at God and says, “Wow!” There is nothing else in this life that will carry you through every season you will face like worship will. When you can’t work or worry your way through a difficult season, you can worship through it. When you enter the throne room of God to worship, He meets you and gives you strength to scale whatever mountain you are facing today.

Respond in Prayer and Worship:

1. What difficulty or fear are you facing that you need to worship through? Tell God and, instead of working or worrying your way through, do exactly what verse 18 instructs – rejoice!

2. If you don’t have one already, put together a playlist of your favorite worship songs. Listen to it and sing along! Worship! Especially in these times when life and the world seem so chaotic and uncertain.
