Series: Dirt | Week 3: Half-Hearted

Day Two Hosea 10:12

Discover
1. What is the opposite of planting seeds of righteousness?
2. Going along with the analogy of “the hard ground of your hearts,” what words might describe a person and their heart?
3. What does this verse say will help soften the ground of our hearts?

Respond
In order to allow God to tend to the soil of our hearts, we need to intentionally seek Him. He’s the one who can change our hearts, but a barrier to that could be our choice to prioritize everything else above our relationship with God. He wants to shower His righteousness on you, and now is the time to seek Him. What might seeking the Lord look like for you today?

For Families with Kids at Home
Today, pray that your kids would not grow cynical or hard-hearted towards God, but that He would help them keep a tender heart that is open to hearing from Him.
