Who are the people who surround you? Do you have people in your life who are consistently helping you grow to be more like Jesus? People who know the good and the ugly? Who in your life is only leading you into trouble? Ask God now to help you have the right balance – people you can imitate but also people you can lead. If you don’t have community that is driving godly accountability in your life, consider joining a group today!

Ask your kids this week: besides your parents, who do they look up to? Ask follow-up questions: what about that person makes him/her trustworthy? What do your kids like about him/her? Talk to your kids about the importance of walking with people who are wise, and having people they can talk about life with (in addition to you!) when life gets hard
