Respond
There are burdens God has asked us to carry and there are burdens He has not asked us to carry. Take some time now to give Him the ones He has not asked you to carry – sin, guilt, worry. . . Jesus took all of that and gave us, instead, a light and easy burden – one that leads to peace, joy, and a soul at rest. Thank Him now for that gift and ask Him to help you be consistent and faithful with the simple and light burden He has given you to carry.
