For Families with Kids at Home:
In these verses, Paul talks about honoring the Lord in all you do, even if you have a disagreement with believers on other non-essential issues. This is a great opportunity to talk to your kids about how to interact with other believers with whom we might disagree on certain things! Talk to them about the difference between disagreeing on non-essential topics and essential topics, such as salvation comes from accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. Help them remember that in everything, we’re called to honor other people because God loves them.
