Respond
In a world that thrives on “bigger is better” thinking, Jesus says our success is defined by our character. Specifically, what we do with little. How we handle our gifts and resources, no matter how small, says a lot about our faithfulness. If we’re faithful with little, we can be entrusted with much.

Ultimately, this ties to stewardship and loyalty. Everything God gives us is ours to steward for His glory. Viewing what we own in that light allows us to be faithful with any amount. Loyalty points to the motivation of our hearts. Do we serve God and give to others out of love and loyalty to Him? If we’re motivated by temporary things, like success or recognition, our faithfulness will waver. If we’re motivated by the eternal, like sharing the hope of Jesus to others, we’ll be faithful wherever He calls us.

Take a few minutes now to reflect on your stewardship and loyalty. Confess where you’ve struggled, and ask God to show you a next step to serve Him faithfully in big and small things.
