Additional
Gathering Times

Over the past year, we've been celebrating incredible growth—and feeling the stretch—with packed gatherings, crowded parking lots, and overflowing Traders Point Kids spaces, especially at our Northwest, Carmel, Plainfield, and Fishers locations.

We never want to be the church that has to hang a "No Vacancy" sign. So to make room for who God is bringing now—and who He's bringing next—we're adding additional gathering times starting Saturday, August 2.

ADDITIONAL GATHERING TIMES

Northwest | Saturday, 4 PM

Carmel | Saturday, 4 & 5:30 PM (Note: These replace Carmel’s Sunday 5 PM gathering.)

Plainfield & Fishers | Sunday, 8 AM

JOIN THE LAUNCH TEAM

We’re looking for a core group of committed men, women, and families to help launch these new gathering times strong. If you’re ready to say "yes" to making a difference, we'd love for you to be part of the Launch Team!

DIY - Ascent 121 - Spring/Summer Fun Kit

***This opportunity is a DIY project that can be done at a time convenient for your group. It needs to be completed OUTSIDE of your normal Rooted group time, during the dates of May 20th - June 5th.***

Ascent 121 provides advocacy and recovery services for teen survivors of sex trafficking in Indiana. Due to the trauma experienced in trafficking and to confidentiality regulations, volunteers do not work directly with the survivors. Their staff is delighted to have your support of their agency in this project.

Many of the teen survivors served by Ascent 121 live in a locked secure residential recovery center for six to twelve months. They participate in medical and therapeutic care, attend high school classes, and have free time for activities. Your group will be putting together a "Spring/Summer Fun Kit" for 12 girls and 1 staff member.

Step 1: As a group, learn more about domestic minor sex trafficking and the work of Ascent 121 by visiting Ascent121.org. Click on What We Do and watch the short video. The girls who will enjoy this Kit are in residential care. Click What We Do>Survivor Services>Residential Services to learn about their experience.

Step 2: Discuss as a group what you will include in your kit and who will collect each of the items. Here are some ideas:

- Sidewalk Chalk

- Bubbles (traditional jars and wands – no guns please)

- Outdoor Games

- Spring or Summer focused craft supplies - flower stickers, summer coloring pages, etc.

- Snacks or beverages (must be individually wrapped, store bought, non-perishable)

Step 3: Set a date to collect the items together. Once you’ve prepared all the items , spend some time praying for the Ascent 121 girls who will enjoy them. You are welcome to write a message of encouragement to enclose in the box. Please place all the items in a plastic tub with a lid labeled "Spring/Summer Fun Kit". All items must fit in ONE tub. Please use clear plastic tub no larger than 16 quart size with a lid (Available at Target or Walmart). In the box, include a note that says "From Traders Point Christian Church" and the contact information for the leader of your Rooted group.

Step 4: Contact danika.hoistion@ascent121.org to arrange a time and location to drop off the box.
