If you could define joy, how would you describe it? What about when loneliness sets in, there's a loss, or temptations emerge? The book of Philippians is often called “the joy letter” because it emphasizes the fact that joy isn’t dependent on circumstances; it’s dependent on who or what we ground our identity in. When our foundation is built on Jesus, we can respond with joy, no matter what we see around us or experience inside of us. To live counter-culturally is to be a joyful person.
During this 10-week series, you’ll be given a Philippians Guidebook for study and reflection. Join us for Sunday’s message and then open your guidebook to process what you’re learning throughout the week.
