The habit of meeting together.

Series: The Gospel of Luke: Settled in Spirit | Week 2: Offended by Grace

Read Luke 4:14-16
Discover
1. Picture this scene in your mind (see a map here if it helps). What is Jesus doing and how are people responding to Him?
2. Where does Jesus stop on his journey? What’s significant about Nazareth?
3. What usual custom does Jesus follow when He’s home?

Respond
1. Figuratively speaking, if anyone didn’t need to go to church, it was Jesus. Spend a few minutes reflecting on the fact that Jesus found value in being part of a gathering of other believers.
2. Have you gotten out of the habit of meeting together with other believers during the pandemic? It’s easy to do. Spend a few minutes asking God to help you reconnect to Him and to life-giving relationships, however that looks in this season.
