Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart…
The earth shook. Jesus didn’t. Jesus alone is unshakeable. He’s the only thing we can place our faith in that can’t be shaken. And the curtain in the temple was torn in two. This is a curtain that symbolized the separation between us and God, it no longer exists. Our sins were dealt with. The things we’re afraid to pray about were dealt with. The curtain fell, and now we have complete access to God.
Choose today to get rid of distractions that are distancing you from God. Choose to tell God what you're really struggling with. He is not shakeable--He can handle the thing that's overwhelming you--and He wants to be your rock and salvation.
