Series: Atomic Habits | Week 4: Little By Little

Read Ephesians 2:8-10

“God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.”

Discover
1. At what moment does God save us by His grace?
2. How is salvation described in these verses?
3. For what purpose did God create us?

Respond
The moment we place our faith in Jesus for salvation, we are called justified before a holy God. But God didn’t just save us from the sin and death we deserve, He saved us for a life of good things – a life of becoming more like Jesus! If you have placed your faith in Jesus, spend a few minutes now considering this truth that you are God’s masterpiece. Stay motivated because the journey starts, first and foremost, with knowing who you are in Jesus.
