Leave a Legacy.

Series: Rally Cry | Week 1: Family: Leave A Legacy!

Read Psalm 127:1

“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.” (Psalm 127:1)

1. What work does the Lord do in this verse?
2. What work do the people do?
3. Are the two mutually exclusive?

What kind of legacy are you leaving in your job, with your resources, or through your children and others that God places in your life? Leaving any kind of meaningful legacy always requires bringing the Lord into what you are building. Spend a few minutes talking with God right now about the things you're building. Ask Him to give you a mindset each day for building His Kingdom in whatever work He has called you to do.
