1. What two words does the psalmist use to describe children?
2. What words does God use to describe His feelings for His Son?
3. How does this compare to how our culture views children?

Respond
Before Jesus had done anything on earth, His Father declared His love and joy over His Son. Do you see children as a gift and reward from God? Whether they’re your own or not, ask God to help you delight in the children in your life in a way that communicates a love independent of anything they do or achieve. Ask Him to help you delight in a way that informs your discipline and shapes their hearts toward God.
