Series: Waymaker | Week 1: Miracle Worker
Psalm 9:9-10“The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.”The only way out of a storm is to know God—to have a deeper understanding of who He is. Just as you or I may be known by many different names, God also has many names all throughout Scripture. Each name describes a different attribute of God’s character and knowing Him by His many names helps us know Him more intimately and fully. Truly knowing God deepens our trust in Him.Respond in PrayerThank God that He wants to have a relationship with you. Praise Him that He knows you deeply, intimately and fully and He wants you to know Him, too! Set aside some time each day to seek Him in your Bible. You can check out a men's reading plan or a women's reading plan about the many names of God. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you as you do. Ask Him to give you a deeper understanding of His character and attributes.
