Revelation 7:9-10
“After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, ‘Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!’”
The final book of the Bible gives us a brief glimpse into Heaven – one where we are still diverse in ethnicity yet united into one through Jesus. What a beautiful picture of the Church, reunited and worshipping together in all of her glorious diversity.
Respond in Prayer
Today pray for God’s Kingdom to come. Pray boldly for God to bring peace and unity to your neighborhood, city, nation and world. Pray that His Church would be a beacon of light in a dark world and ask for Him to show you the part you play as a member of the Body. Worship Him today! Commit to continue learning in humility and to being part of the solution in bringing unity through our diversity.
