God will make it plain to you.

Series: Good News! | Week 4: The Benefit is Ours

Philippians 3:15-17
“Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. But we must hold on to the progress we have already made. Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example.”

Discover
1. What are ‘these things’ that those who are spiritually mature should agree upon? (See here for more on this.)
2. Why is Paul not worried if someone disagrees?
3. Paul has just said he’s not perfect. How can he tell the Philippians to pattern their life after his?

Respond
1. Do you have other believers that set an example for you to follow in your faith? Reach out to them today to thank them and pray for God’s protection and blessing over them. Who is God asking you to set an example for, despite your imperfections?
2. Paul revisits his theme of unity from chapter 1. Spend some time now praying for unity in your church and in the larger body of Christ, asking God to reveal things to His children, trusting in Him to work in them.

For Families with Kids at Home
Pray for your family to be unified in Jesus, and that your love for one another would impact the people around you for God’s kingdom.
