Serve Week
We exist to remove barriers that keep people from Jesus, and one way we do that is by serving our communities. During Serve Week, we’ll focus on four areas of need: family strengthening, human trafficking, neighboring, and poverty alleviation.
COVID-19 has impacted all of us, but the most vulnerable in our communities have felt the largest ripple effects. Food insecurity has skyrocketed, vulnerable children have lost their advocates, and families have found themselves facing poverty after job loss. We have the opportunity to meet these needs, and we would love for every person at Traders Point to participate in Serve Week in some way.
No matter who you are, where you live, how comfortable you are being with people right now, or how busy you are, we have an opportunity for you! You can rally your group to assemble gift baskets. You can participate in a work day or serve a meal at Wheeler Mission. You can go on a prayer walk with your family or help a neighbor in need. And if you want to participate from home, you can write notes of encouragement, sponsor a child, or donate supplies.
