What did the early church believe? How is our view of Scripture the same as theirs, and where is it different? How can we become people of the Text that Jesus taught and believed in, and how do we use that to become the people and the kingdom he yearned for and ushered in? Our small group will be using the Bema Discipleship podcast as our curriculum, studying the Eastern/Hebrew understanding of the Bible and using it to compliment the Western understanding of Scripture many Christians in America have grown up with. We will be meeting 3-4 Wednesday nights a month as a mixed, intergenerational group. We meet every other Tuesday night from 7:15-9pm. We want to create a space for fellowship and brotherhood by creating a culture of intentionality. We would love for you to join our group! Please keep in mind that with our culture we are looking for the following expectations: 1) 80% attendance. We get things come up, but we aim to make this time together a priority, especially since its every other week. 2) 3 Hour notice for cancellation when possible, this helps the group leaders prepare. 3) One hour study to guide our discussion and time together, the rest of time will be connecting and pouring into each other. 4) Quarterly Service Projects 5) Group Confidentiality We do not say this to scare you off!
