The Brookside Christmas Store seeks to meet the needs of families involved with Brookside Community Church and in our community. Our goal is to provide dignity to our families by giving them the opportunity to be active participants in Christmas shopping for their children. The parents/guardians of each family are invited to shop for gifts at Brookside Community Church for their children ages 0-18. Our hope is that each of our families feels the love of Jesus through this process, and that they are encouraged by the gifts, hygiene items, and food totes which meet tangible needs.
Brookside Community Church is one of TPCC's Strategic Local Outreach Partners.
Volunteers will:
- Assist individuals shopping
- Help load packages into cars
- Direct cars to pick-up location
- Engage with families (if kids come, color with them, help them with refreshments, etc.)
This is a 3-hour family friendly service project.
