Sheltering Wings is one of our local Outreach partners, and they serve survivors of domestic abuse.  They provide emergency housing and programs for men, women, and children.  They have a lot of great volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups!

Volunteers play many critical roles at Sheltering Wings, including: administration (answering phones, preparing mailings, accepting donations and filing), children’s programming (leading prepared children’s activities so parents can attend support groups or classes), mentoring (building relationships with residents and their children), facility maintenance (gardening, cleaning and basic maintenance) and so much more.

If you have a talent, interest or skill and if you are passionate about our mission to break the cycle of domestic abuse, there’s a place for you to volunteer at Sheltering Wings.
