What is the Traders Point Leadership College?

This is a two-year program at Traders Point Christian Church where students can earn their degree through Southeastern University and gain hands-on ministry experience alongside Traders Point pastors, staff, and leaders.

Why did Traders Point decide to start a Leadership College?

“He told them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’” – Luke 10:2 (NIV)

Jesus told us the world needs more workers – more people who will share the good news of Jesus, so that others can experience the goodness of God. Traders Point Christian Church has been blessed with 187 years of ministry and resources, and we believe God is calling us to develop leaders not just for Traders Point, but for all of God’s Kingdom. Our desire is that more people would know Him and know Him more deeply.

How is the Traders Point Leadership College different than other colleges?

Through the partnership between Traders Point Christian Church and Southeastern University, we are able to offer a full learning experience that includes classroom knowledge, coaching and mentorship, and practical ministry experience.

As a student of the Traders Point Leadership College, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in several different ministries throughout the year and learn from Traders Point staff. You will also have the support of adults coaching you in discipleship topics and helping you grow in your leadership development.
